This fantastic archeological site in a remote region of Canyonlands National Park captures the essence of the American Southwest with its rich human heritage and high rising sandstone cliffs in the background. I hiked out to this site in the middle of the night hoping to capture the milky way in the background, but instead I found myself caught in a thunderstorm. I wandered helplessly, trying to find any sign of the trail that had been, for the most part,  washed away in the heavy rain. I finally located the shelter of this ruin after hours of searching, and captured this dramatic image as a memory of that unforgettable night.
